Sabine Seymour

In her research Dr. Sabine Seymour focuses on next generation wearables. Currently Dr. Seymour co-chairs the Computational Fashion project at Eyebeam, curates the MAK Fashion Lab at the Museum of Applied Arts in Vienna, directs the research project Computation Cellulose at Aalto University in Helsinki, and is an Assistant Professor of Fashionable Technology at Parsons The New School for Design. She is the author of "Fashionable Technology" and "Functional Aesthetics" and is an editorial review board member for the International Journal of Mobile Human Computer Interaction and The Journal of Textile Design Research and Practice. Sabine holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Economics in Vienna, a MPS in Interactive Telecommunications from NYU, MSc from the University of Economics in Vienna and was a fellow in the MBA program at Columbia Business School.
