Zach Layton

Zach Layton is a musician, composer, curator, and new media artist with an interest in biofeedback, generative algorithms, and free improvisation. His work has been featured at the Cleveland Chamber Symphony, MoMA PS1, SCOPE art fair, Phillips de Pury, New York Electronic Art festival, Eyebeam, Transmediale berlin, and more. Zach is also founder of Brooklyn’s monthly experimental music series, “Darmstadt: Classics of the Avant Garde” and curator at Issue Project Room. He is a graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory and ITP and has taught at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and Bard High School Early College.
