LISA Announces Partnership with Big Screen Project

Leaders in Software and Art is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Big Screen Project, a 30 x 16.5 ft. HD Format LED screen located at the 10,000 sq. ft. public plaza behind the Eventi Hotel on Sixth Avenue between 29th and 30th Street in New York City.  The first collection of LISA artist works will be shown starting May 10, and thereafter.

The Big Screen Project is, according to its website, intended to be “a destination continuously evolving with its audience and galvanizing Upper Chelsea with thought-provoking tapestries of contemporary media.”  You can enjoy the view of the screen freely from the plaza, or from the seating area at the Foodparc, a venue featuring a bar and quality fast food from several different vendors, of from the seating and cocktail area at the upscale Bar Basque upstairs in the Eventi Hotel.

A heartfelt thanks goes out to Nina Colosi and the Streaming Museum, both big supporters of software and video art internationally, for introducing us to the Big Screen Project; Neil Sieling, Chief Content Officer at the Big Screen Project; Stephanie Dodes, video artist and Big Screen curator; Kristen Mukai, digital media manager at the Big Screen; and the rest of the staff at the Big Screen Project.

May’s Leaders in Software and Art choices (a 40-min. loop that plays three times through in a two hour period), including works by Phillip Stearns, Erik Sanner, Deborah Johnson and Blake Carrington, will show on the Big Screen at the following times:
